Shipping policy

ORDER PROCESSING

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days unless otherwise stated.

Once your order is confirmed, you will receive:

• An order confirmation email
• A shipping or delivery update when scheduled

Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.


SHIPPING METHODS

We offer multiple fulfillment options:

• Freight Shipping (large furniture)
• Standard Ground Shipping (smaller items)
• Local Delivery (Southern California)
• Warehouse Pickup (Cerritos, CA)

Shipping method availability depends on the item and your location.


FREIGHT SHIPPING (Large Furniture)

Large items such as bedroom sets, beds, dressers, and case goods ship via LTL freight carrier.

Freight delivery includes:

• Curbside delivery
• Residential service
• Liftgate service (when required)

Freight delivery does NOT include:

• Inside delivery
• Stair carries
• Assembly
• Debris removal

Customers are responsible for moving items inside the residence.

Delivery Appointment

The freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery window.
It is the customer’s responsibility to:

• Provide accurate phone number and address
• Be available during the scheduled delivery time

Missed delivery appointments may result in redelivery fees.


INSPECTION REQUIREMENT (VERY IMPORTANT)

Please inspect your shipment at the time of delivery.

If you notice:

• Visible damage
• Crushed boxes
• Torn packaging

You must:

  1. Note the damage clearly on the delivery receipt

  2. Take photos immediately

  3. Contact us within 48 hours

Failure to report damage within 48 hours may void replacement eligibility.

Do NOT refuse delivery without contacting us first unless damage is severe.


LOCAL DELIVERY (Southern California)

We offer local delivery within designated zones around Cerritos, CA.

Local delivery includes:

• Delivery to ground level
• Placement inside main entrance (when accessible)

Assembly services may be available for an additional fee.

Delivery windows will be scheduled after order confirmation.

Customer must ensure:

• Clear access
• Accurate address
• Someone 18+ present


WAREHOUSE PICKUP (Cerritos, CA)

Pickup is available at:

George’s Furniture Warehouse
16716 Edwards Road
Cerritos, CA 90703

Pickup is by appointment only.

Customers must:

• Bring valid ID
• Inspect items before leaving
• Bring appropriate vehicle and tie-down materials

Once items leave our warehouse, responsibility transfers to the customer.


SHIPPING RATES

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

• Weight
• Destination zone
• Freight classification

Shipping fees are non-refundable once the order has shipped.


TRANSIT TIMES

Estimated delivery times:

• California Freight: 2–5 business days
• West Coast: 3–7 business days
• Other U.S. regions: 5–10 business days

These are estimates only and not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

• Freight carriers
• Weather
• Labor strikes
• Natural disasters
• Incorrect customer information


ORDER CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

Orders may be canceled before shipment.

Once an order has shipped:

• Shipping fees are non-refundable
• Return freight charges may apply

Custom or special-order items cannot be canceled once processed.


FAILED DELIVERY / RETURNED SHIPMENTS

If delivery fails due to:

• Incorrect address
• Customer unavailable
• Refused delivery without authorization

The customer may be responsible for:

• Redelivery fees
• Storage fees
• Return freight charges
